United States.
The Navy League of the United States
was founded in 1902, and is unique among military-oriented associations in that it is a civilian organization dedicated
to the education of our citizens, including our elected officials, and the support of the men and women of the sea services
and their families. Further information may be obtained by visiting the web site www.navyleague.org.
We welcome new members and invite your participation as "Citizens in Support of the Sea
Services." Being a sailor or veteran is not a prerequisite. Be as active or inactive as you choose. The emphasis of this council
is to support the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps , Coast Guard and U. S. flag Merchant
Marine, the nation's maritime industry and the maritime trade organizations.
